Finished Projects
Yes!! I finally have one!!
State Fair Competition Quilt

It’s FINISHED!!! Like totally done. Nothing else to do with it. FINISHED!
This last week I finished the quilting, tucked away the ends, and put on the binding and the hanging sleeve.
I’m honestly way more proud of this project than I thought I’d be.
I’ve actually always avoided things like wall hangings because…
- I thought (wrongly) that they weren’t really challenging or interesting enough to look at and therefore would be a waste of time in comparison with a whole huge blanket.
- I considered them to be… well… kinda useless and the irony of that is not lost to me. “I need to make my home feel more home-y.” meanwhile, “Wall hangings are useless.” (facepalm)
Either way, I stand corrected.
This most certainly was a challenge to put together and the finished product is definitely interesting to look at… even though I still don’t like the challenge fabric! lol
I kinda hope the judges don’t look too close at the center, but if they’re any good they will so…. we’ll see.

OTD Bargello SAL

Yep. I was a handful of stitches away from finishing part 4 as of this morning. I considered trying to get them done real quick before posting this, but nah. This is legitimately where I was. Still, onto part 5! (after a few quick stitches…)

Because… why not?!
Conclusion
Still hoping to pull some projects out of hibernation, but we’ll see. I’ve got a new (surprise) project I’m trying to get together so time needs to be split accordingly.
I’ve really got to remember to hit “post” when I finish writing…
As always… Thanks for reading!
